My mom is one of those people who always insist on using American made products in whatever project she is working on.
I have to admit that it used to get on my nerves some because it’s really hard to find items that are made in the USA at a good price sometimes. A lot of times over the past few years, it would have been a whole lot easier for us to purchase something from overseas, not to mention it would have been cheaper. However, my mom is pretty stubborn about things, especially about buying American made things. My mom says that it is the least that we can do to help out our fellow Americans. I know that she is right. My mom says that manufacturing should be kept in America and I can’t say that she is wrong. I agree with her more now than I used to. Recently, I’ve been having to do a lot of concrete work at my job and I ended up ordering American made rebar wire ties for all of our concrete touring projects. Before this, we always used imports but honestly, that stuff wasn’t very high quality at all. Now, I am ordering American made rebar wire ties. They are made at a local company and they are very durable. You can use them in just about any situation and they will hold up in any kind of weather. I have to say that the American made certified domestic rebar wire ties are ten times better than the ones that we used to get.
